About the Artist

Christof Vevers, Dutch by origin with family roots in Riga and Jurmala, was born in 1962 in Germany into a large family of musicians. In 1971, he graduated from the School of Professional Plastic Arts in Hamburg. His father worked as a steward of a small musical workshop. Since childhood, Christof watched how dexterously his father’s hands adjusted musical instruments, awakening a deep interest in fine art.

The majority of his artwork depicts generalized treats of Paris seen through the prism of everyday life, changing seasons, and atmospheric moods. Whether depicting the Arc de Triomphe, Madeleine Square, Café de la Paix, Notre-Dame, or historic boulevards, the vibrant spirit of the modern city remains at the heart of his work.

For those who love Paris or dream of visiting, Vevers offers a chance to take home a piece of this magnificent city. His paintings have become highly sought-after collector's items worldwide.
